How to get spend your local grant for daycare

This is easy when you know how and I have done this twice with $3500 awards each time.

Here’s what I learned:

• Call all the big school/equipment places like Lakeshore, Constructive Playthings, Little Tikes etc and ask for a catalog.
• If you order a large amount from one catalog they will give you a nice discount and then you can get more stuff.
• We were allowed, with our grants to re-propose if we had funds left, i.e. found stuff on sale or got discounts, so we could use the rest of the money. I have gotten cribs, highchairs, car seats, a computer, a nice hardwood changing table, bikes, play structures, kitchen
  playsets (stove, refrigerator, sink, etc) swings, books, tables, chairs…all kinds of
  stuff.

Remember to Shop around, they all want your business!
